Course Materials Frequently Asked Questions
When will course materials be shipped?
Upper School book boxes are shipped at the beginning of August.
Can I pick up my book box instead of having it shipped?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide pick-ups.
What if I'm not at home at the time of delivery?
If no one is available at the time of delivery, FedEx will leave your book box at the provided address. If you need to use a different shipping address (e.g. a neighbor or workplace), ensure that the alternative shipping address is entered correctly on the original shipping form or contact acosta@hw.com to request a shipment change.
How does billing work?
Billing for book boxes will take place in July and August. Your book box will include an itemized list of all course materials billed, including notes for any items provided in class.
What is the return policy?
Please do not remove the shrink wrap or mark the materials in any way. Opened or marked materials may not be eligible for return. All returns for the 2024-2025 school year must be made by Friday, October 4th, 2024. For additional details, review our refund policy here or contact the bookstore with specific questions.
Book Buyback
Bookfount, our third-party vendor, offers year-round book buyback services for your convenience. Steps to selling your books:
• Contact Stephen Fuchs and provide the following information to determine if your books have value.
- Book title
- Book ISBN (13-digit number on the back of the book starting with "978")
- Quantity
• Contact info: Email: bookfount@aol.com / Phone: 818-640-3289
• If your titles have value, Stephen will coordinate with you to ship the titles and issue payment.
• Download the used book form here. Submit completed form with your book shipment.
