The varsity boys’ basketball team suffered an early exit from CIF on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when they went down to Compton High School in the second round and lost 85-59.

This was the second time the two teams had played and both times the Wolverines lost by significant margins.

Despite great efforts by seniors Jon Sebastian ’07 and Jabari Trotter ’07, the Wolverines allowed Compton to jump out to an early, insurmountable lead. At the end of the first quarter, Compton was winning 18-3.
