The girls’ tennis team ended its season with a quarterfinal exit from the CIF playoffs.
“It’s hard to get over the loss of a pro,” Coach Chris Simpson said.
Although the Wolverines dominated the Mission League with a record of 9-1, losses that came in their non-league matches hurt their record.
They played the toughest non-conference schedule in southern California.
“Our strength of schedule was the hardest in California,” Simpson said. “We made it with the
expectancy of getting Hilary back and a new recruit, but they never came through.”
Their season ended after an 18-0 loss to Corona Del Mar in the CIF quarter finals.
