A lot has changed over the summer: the world bid farewell to the biggest pop idol it’s ever seen, we mourned the loss of Ted Kennedy, the heart of the Democratic Party, and The Chronicle received what is arguably the biggest facelift in its history.

I am writing regarding the March 25 issue. Upon receiving the paper, I was surprised to see that the entire front page consisted of yearbook photos; however, upon further reading the issue, I was appalled to discover that nine yearbook photos were printed without permission.

In the September issue of the Chronicle, the staff wrote an editorial titled "Break Proposal has Potential." This editorial supported our 2:35 p.m. additional break proposal, noting that it is a step toward "a more unified community."
