Hurtful heckling

The sports games I have attended have been, pretty much, awkward.  More comfortable watching opening night in Rugby, the rituals surrounding the blessed moving-of-the-ball-from-one-side-of-the-field-to-another, my working definition of football, have downright scared me.  I fear the packed middle section of Slavin’s stands — Fanatics territory — crossing into which one will find herself surrounded by faces masked in tribal paint that screech their banshee-like wails, sounding their native drums.

The administration’s new Technology Acceptable Use Policy should serve as an overdue wake up call to students to behave on the internet, but not a mandate for the administration to meticulously monitor student internet use.

Last Thursday, when the Prefect Council met with the entire senior class for a town meeting discussion on the Honor Code, students brutally accused the Prefect Council of not communicating with the student body.
