The Environmental Club designated every Thursday in April as a "Zero Trash Thursday" with the goal of achieving "decreased waste and increased awareness of the planet," Environmental Club President Julie Barzilay ’09 said.

"All students and faculty are encouraged to minimize energy consumption and the trash generation on Thursdays," Barzilay said.
