After winning CIF, the girls basketball finished the season with a five point loss in the quarterfinals of the state championships. Mater Dei Catholic beat the Wolverines 66-61.

“Overall I am really proud of how the team played and I think we really exceeded people’s expectations. Winning CIF was really exciting and next year we will come back just as strong. Other teams are losing players but we are not losing any, so hopefully we can win CIF again and try to win state,” Nicole Hung ’10 said after the game.
