The girls’ basketball team started CIF playoffs last night with a 39 point victory over Duarte High School.

“We can use it (the game) as a learning experience. We used the game as a practice; we worked on things like our transitions which is really going to help us going into more playoff games,” Nicole Nesbit ’10 said.

The team will play against San Marino High School at San Marino on Saturday to determine whether they will be advancing to the quarter finals.
