Middle school members of the knitting club are making snuggles to donate to Pet Orphans, a local pet rescue. Snuggles are knit blankets that will provide dogs with security and comfort in the Pet Orphans’ kennel.

Math teacher and club sponsor Karen Stern hopes to donate about eight snuggles, she said.

Students have also made hats and booties to give to foster babies through the program Stitches from the Heart.
