Head of Security resigns
By Michael Kaplan

Kevin Giberson has resigned as the school’s Head of Security.

President Thomas C. Hudnut informed the faculty of Giberson’s resignation in an e-mail Friday afternoon.

“I have accepted this resignation with great reluctance for I have a lot of respect and affection for Kevin,” Hudnut wrote. “He is a good man, a good cop, a good colleague and a good friend who has always had the school's - in particular, the students' - best interests at heart.”’

Giberson has accepted a position on the Burbank Airport police force, according to Hudnut.

Before coming to Harvard-Westlake, Giberson worked as a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department.
