A water main break on Coldwater Canyon near the upper school's entrance that closed the thoroughfare down to traffic  the whole first week of school was repaired Saturday. Guests at Sunday afternoon's Senior Ceremony should have no problems getting to the upper school campus.

‘Potter’ screening raises $65,000

A screening of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" at the Warner Bros. lot for Harvard-Westlake families and their guests raised $65,000 for financial aid. More than 500 people attended the viewing July 9, six days before the film premiered.

which he founded in 2006 to help his Palestinian friend Omar Dreidi pay for college.
