Designer works with students to create theatrical costumes

Costume designer Lisa Peters is always on pins and needles. Well, her mind is at least. 
From the moment she receives a script until the actual curtain call, Peters races with the clock to analyze the script, mood and characters of the play, create sketches for costumes and make, rent or purchase the rest of the pieces for the upcoming show.  When she finally thinks she might be able to relax, the actors show up.

College Board allows leeway for trip to Israel

Seniors who choose to participate in a two week trip to Poland and Israel will be allowed to miss their AP exams this May. The program, sponsored by the Bureau of Jewish Education of the Jewish Federation, is called March of the Living and was approved by the College Board in November.

Robotics Team places 5th in state contest

The Robotics Team won fifth place at the state championships and ninth place at the regional competition at California State University Northridge and L.A. Valley College respectively.
